We stayed in a comfortable and quiet apartment right on the edge of old Lyon, which felt peaceful despite the lively area around it. It was great having lots of bakeries and restaurants nearby, plus easy access to public transport. The bed and bathroom were very good, the place was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Climbing the old stone spiral staircase to the 4th floor gave the whole stay a bit of character, and the landlady was really helpful, going out of her way to sort out our extra requests.
